  • Chutney
  • Pepper jelly
  • Coleslaw
  • Crispy prosciutto

Juicy, flavourful and topped with perfectly melted cheese, these pork burgers are made for barbecue season. Choose your favourite L’Ancêtre Organic cheese — Raclette, Swiss or Cheddar — and customize each burger with your favourite toppings for an easy meal everyone will love.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the barbecue to high heat (about 600°F / 315°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground pork, onion, Dijon mustard and salted herbs. Shape into four patties.
  3. Grill the patties for 10 to 12 minutes, turning once halfway through cooking. Avoid pressing on the patties to keep them juicy.
  4. Two minutes before they’re done, top each patty with a slice of cheese and toast the burger buns cut-side down.
  5. Once the cheese has melted, assemble the burgers with your favourite toppings and serve immediately.

Stovetop option

Cook the patties in a non-stick skillet over medium heat for 7 to 8 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Toast the buns under the broiler if desired.

*If Bas-du-Fleuve salted herbs are unavailable, substitute 1/2 teaspoon celery salt and 1 teaspoon dried mixed herbs.
