- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the grated Parmesan cheese into small piles on the baking sheet, spacing them about 5 cm apart.
- Gently flatten each pile with the back of a spoon or your fingers to form thin and uniform circles.
- If desired, lightly sprinkle freshly ground black pepper over the Parmesan chips to add extra flavor.
- Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for about 5 to 7 minutes, or until the edges of the chips are golden and crispy.
- Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the Parmesan chips cool completely on the sheet. They will harden as they cool.
- Once cooled, carefully peel the Parmesan chips off the parchment paper and serve them as a side dish with salad, soup, or as an appetizer.
