Mini Skewers with Feta, Tomato, and Olive

Ingredients

  • 12 cubes of feta cheese
  • 12 tomato wedges (medium-sized)
  • 12 olives (of your choice, pitted if necessary)
  • 12 small fresh basil leaves
  • 12 mini wooden or plastic skewers

Preparation

  • Cut the feta cheese into approximately 1 cm cubes. Cut the tomatoes into wedges of similar size. If necessary, pit the olives and ensure they are well drained. Wash and dry the basil leaves.
  • On each mini skewer, thread in this order: a tomato wedge, a cube of feta cheese, an olive, and a basil leaf. Ensure each item is centered on the skewer for aesthetic presentation.
  • Place one mini skewer in each shot glass. Ensure the skewers stand upright in the glasses and the ingredients are visible from the top of the glass.
  • Arrange the shot glasses on a serving tray or board. Serve immediately as an appetizer or hors d’oeuvre at your gatherings. The mini skewers can be enjoyed directly by hand or with a small fork.
