Sweet, savoury and ready in minutes, these marinated cheese curds are a delicious way to enjoy fresh L’Ancêtre Cheese Curds. A simple blend of maple syrup, Dijon mustard and fresh herbs coats every curd with flavour, making them perfect for snack boards, salads or entertaining.

Preparation

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the maple syrup, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, garlic, thyme, chives and black pepper.
  2. Add the cheese curds and gently toss until evenly coated.
  3. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to develop.
  4. Remove from the refrigerator about 15 minutes before serving so the cheese curds return to their best texture.

Serve these maple-marinated cheese curds with crackers, on a charcuterie board or tossed into a fresh salad. They also pair wonderfully with crisp apples or pears.
