  • Grapes
  • Fresh vegetables, as desired

Easy to prepare and perfect for sharing, this bread bowl fondue turns any meal into a cozy gathering. Made with L’Ancêtre Organic Cheese Fondue, available in Beer or Wine varieties, it bakes right in the oven and pairs beautifully with a drizzle of honey or maple syrup and your favourite nuts and dried fruit. An impressive recipe that’s surprisingly simple to make.

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Slice off the top of the bread loaf and set it aside. Remove some of the bread from the centre, leaving about a 2 cm (¾-inch) border. Gently press down the bottom to create a bowl.
  3. Pour the L’Ancêtre Cheese Fondue into the bread bowl.
  4. Drizzle with honey or maple syrup and top with the nuts and dried fruit.
  5. Place the bread on a baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes, or until the cheese is hot, melted and bubbling.
  6. Serve immediately with bread cubes, fruit and vegetables for dipping.
