Let yourself be carried away by this recipe for pizzas, where the richness of the one-year-aged goat cheese perfectly complements the fresh herbs. A delicious way to enjoy our limited edition, the 1-year-aged Artisan Goat Cheese, with these Goat Cheese and Fresh Herb Pizzas!

This aged version of our artisan goat cheese is the result of a year of aging, giving it a firm texture and a pronounced taste, reminiscent of cheddar. Made from 100% pasteurized Quebec goat milk, this lactose-free cheese stands out for its white color and more intense character.

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to the temperature recommended for the pizza dough or according to the package instructions.
  2. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the pizza dough to the desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread a thin layer of tomato sauce or pesto over the pizza dough, leaving a border around the edges.
  5. Generously sprinkle grated goat cheese over the sauce, ensuring even coverage of the pizza surface.
  6. Distribute the chopped fresh herbs (basil, thyme, rosemary) over the grated goat cheese.
  7. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  8. If desired, lightly drizzle the pizza with olive oil for added flavor.
  9. Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake according to the pizza dough instructions or until the crust is golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted and lightly golden.
  10. Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing it into portions.
  11. Serve hot and enjoy these delicious Goat Cheese and Fresh Herb Pizzas at a summer outdoor meal!
