This category, in which\u00a0<strong><em>Fromagerie L\u2019Anc\u00eatre<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0stood out, was introduced this year for the first time at the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sialcanada.com\/\"><strong>SIAL Montr\u00e9al<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0on April 21<sup>st<\/sup>.<\/p>\n<p>The jury chaired by\u00a0<strong>Gurth M. Pretty<\/strong>\u00a0and composed of professionals from the cheese industry, had to assess the best cheeses among 28 categories. This Thursday, they decided in favor of the\u00a0<strong><em>Fromagerie L\u2019Anc\u00eatre<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by giving them the gold medal for their cheese curds.<\/p>\n<p>It is a great honor for the\u00a0<strong>30 years old\u00a0<\/strong>company from\u00a0<strong>B\u00e9cancour<\/strong>\u00a0to win an international contest with organic products. \u201cThis win is a reward for the 30 years of efforts in producing quality cheeses in an eco-friendly and cruelty-free way.
