Half-salt Cheddar

This half-salt cheddar is made from organic pasteurized milk and contains 50% less sodium than our regular cheddars. With only 85 mg of sodium per 30 g portion, unlike regular cheddar, which has an average of 190 to 240 mg. Its delicately tangy flavour is often likened to that of cheese curds.

It has a firm, smooth, slightly creamy texture. This gluten free Canadian cheese can be enjoyed on its own or used to cook with – it makes fantastic ‘au gratin’ type dishes.
