BÉCANCOUR. For the third year in a row, the L’Ancêtre cheese factory in Bécancour is participating in the Advent calendar project featuring fine Quebec cheeses.
This calendar, initiated by Fromages CDA Inc. and sold at IGA stores in Quebec, is filled with exceptional cheeses from eight Quebec cheese factories. It allows people to taste 12 cheeses between December 1st and December 24th.
For this edition, L’Ancêtre cheese factory is back with its cheese that was a big hit last year: Le Suisse L’Ancêtre.
It’s worth noting that two other cheese factories from the central region are featured in this special calendar, namely Warwick cheese factory with Le Franc-Gilles, and Rang 9 cheese factory with its cheeses Mamirolle, La Meule des Champs, and Le Paternel.
The calendar will be available for sale at the price of $35.99 starting from November 8. Limited quantities.
